Even More Filming Updates
Movieland reports that filming will end March 15th in Durango, but they will finish in late March or early April in Los Angeles (remember a short percentage of the film will be shot in LA like previously reported).
– One of my most reliable sources have confirmed to me that the film will not end completely this Friday or Saturday in Durango … The main actors if just this week, but production will continue here until late March or early April … why? Several scenes are filmed but not by the protagonists, whether standing Easter is why we do not have an exact date for completing the filming, but it is safe to assume it will complete on the month of March.
– Where shoot after Durango? The same source confirmed that to me on Monday and will be working in Los Angeles in the post-production and no longer will be shot anywhere else after finishing in Durango.
- On Saturday at the farewell party, I commented that Justin Chatwin was dressed as a “cowboy” and not take a lot, walked a while with a cerceva girl in the hand. In addition to postage very well with the people who requested it autograph or photo.
Even more contradictions! The sooner we get some official news the better. I can’t wait until American magazines and publications start releasing articles and promotional photos…

I think the whole April 3 release date is bull####! FoxLatina has updated their website today and it is set for an August 15th release. I really don’t believe it will take one full year to do all the special effects. C’mon people, don’t be stupid.

I kind of figured filming wasn’t entirely finished with.
Again, it sounds like some people freaked out about the time they had to finish this movie and FOX decided to up the release date.
At this rate post-production won’t begin until April and they’re going to need more time than April to mid-July for post. It’s good to hear things are coming together though.
I’m glad it’s not rushed but filming will be complete late March, or early April. Then counting this April there’s one whole year til it’s released. How in the hell does it take one year to do the special effects, the music and trailers? That’s stupid, and like I said earlier the release date hasn’t changed on Fox Australia or Fox France. I’m not being over-board here guys but it seems a little far-fetch to me.
It will better if they release de movie in decembre 2008 a x-mas movie
I’m a very big fan of dragon ball i watch it over and over and over and over again…personnaly i think the movie will be good and it will be a family movie.But if akira toriyama was involeved in this project i’m 100% sur the movie going to be awesome!He sell the rights so you know he got nothing to say, the studio is the boss they decide they do want they want to do that’s it they don’t.
To me i think that they don’t realiz what kind of incredible manga they have between there hands !

Apparently the movie might be released on December of this year (2008).

The reason there is speculation all abuzz is because the original date it was set for also had several blue chip movies coming out around then such as the star wars movie among others…. It just wouldn’t be able to compete as well as it should…. But, Dragonball was one of the biggest things growing up and waiting longer would be a big kamehameha up the rear! Go DBZ!!!
