First of all. OMG!!!!! That totally looks like the CC logo on Weaver/Teto’s jacket. also I think that fox thought that Krillin wasn’t a good name for a movie character sense it’s even weirder then the name Goku. Weaver/Teto is Krillin. It’s Obvious. Maybe Weaver/Teto is just a code name for krillin. Guys we really don’t know anything other than, and I quote Ben Afflack in Jay and Silent Bob, “…a bunch of bullshit information that we think are leads on an epic movie”. We don’t even have a teaser yet! (which I’m totally pissed about).

this picture just looks like a scene from capsule corp?-this guy and girl work there and they are monitoring space and the moon……….sounds about right????-

These new characters don’t play a major part in the movie, so I’d like to know why we’re getting more updates on them than the main characters. I wouldn’t mind seeing a featurette on Bulma’s new outfits or Yamcha’s new truck.

oh man you guys got dooped bad!!!!!!!!-no one cares about these movie extra people who arent even characters in the db series id rather know something stupid like what color shoe bulma is wearing or what they used to make the costumes or what justin ate for training anything than this waste of time!!!!!!-when are we gonna see some pics of piccolo,goku,bulma etc…….those first pics we saw with the people training in orange gis are fake and the girls in spandex outfits are all fake pictures!!!!!!!!!!!-duh !!!!-come on they looked so crapppppppppyyyy!!!!

uhhhh… makes sense. But I still think that that is way too futuristic to be the new “Heroes” show whose name escapes me. Also they may be studying the eclipse. Why would the “Heroes” logo be in the show. And lastly they were like “oh these two completely unknown actors are in the Dragonball movie, so they must be in our show”, and then they called them the night they got back to LA, and the next day they shot that scene, and then had time to upload the screenshot in question to a website, and then the internet fanboys had plenty of time to search the net and put that picture on IMDB to supply the entire world with this picture. Which gave time for the guy that gave Adam this link(sorry for no citation) to find it on IMDB and then give the link to Adam so adam could go to IMDB to check it out and then copy the picture to here so we can all see it and then you could be able to write that really lame comment. Robert it seems possible but, I don’t think so.

has the fox commented on how many movies they are planning to make? I hope they cover all DBZ sagas, and i SUPPOSE i PRAY for them not to continue making crapy characters, they should stay with the series real characters.

forget aboy that TETO/Weaver guy, he’s just a fox creation to support the “theory” of goku being a student. He will not replace krillin, because if someone had to be replaced, believe me ITS NOT KRILLIN. Yamcha is much less important than krillin, so he can be replaced. Krillin will not appear in the movie because in the series he was killed at the beginning of Picolo saga, i strongly believe that krillin will appear at the ending scenes of the movie, when he is brought back to life.

BREAKING NEW:

I have a friend living in mexico city. He says that in a TV program about films and news, they said that DB movie doesnt have a date yet, and that the movie is a fussion of the real series and some new ideas of the fox. The idea is to make a triology, and that krillin is not in this movie because in the series he was killed by picolo’s demon.

A rumor: “Krillin (maybe) will appear at the final scene of the movie when they bring back to life all the people killed”. I hope this is true, but the real thing is that the fox doesnt have a cast for Krillin, so maybe he only will be mentioned.

It’s obviously from the movie. The shading is the same as Final Destination 3 and all of James Wong’s other crappy movies.

Ya… I hope they get a new director for the next two. Keep the characters, yes even chatwin because he says he is a big fan and wants to bring Goku justice. I heard a mention of the 3 movies and what they should be about. Personally, I believe it should cover Goku’s story.
Movie 1: Dragonball. Ends with piccolo saga, but could end the movie with a “Years later” scene and have a reimagining of Raditz. The movie ends on a cliffhanger that the saiyans are coming, and goku is ready to start his journey down snake way.

Movie 2: Reimagining of the saiyan saga.

Movie 3: namek and final battle with frieza. Goku becomes the hope of the saiyan race and becomes the legened he was ment to be.

If they do more movies, it would just kill it, since the others began to focus more on Gohan with him reaching super saiyan 2, in high school, ect.

Personally I think they should can both Wong and Chatwin. Whoever said Chatwin said he loves the series is a liar. Chatwin doesn’t have a clue as to what it is. Even if he did say that, he’s lying just to get people to like him in the role, or someone else is obviously. Don’t believe everything you read.

OH MY GOSH!!! Chatwin doesnt’t even HAVE to know everything about the anime/manga!! Many actors who had the role of a cartoon character didn’t really know anything about the cartoon itself! And maybe it’s better if they don’t cuz this would definitely build up pressure which might cause bad influence on someone’s acting abilities.

In the end you only have to do what’s in the script! So please, chill!

Kame, I would agree with you about all of the production crew and actors saying they’re fans of the show probably being a publicity ploy; prepackaged press statements that are fed to actors so that they can then be regurgitated to entertainment reporters are standard operating procedure in Hollywood.

That being said, I don’t blame Chatwin for the foolishness of the interview to which you link since the reporter, as has been said before, essentially asks him a series of questions that were designed for nothing more than giving the reporter an opportunity to hear herself speak. I also don’t think Chatwin should be expected to be able to handle a bad interviewer just because he reads lines all the time in front of a camera; in a peculiar interview, he has to extemporize, which is something very different from just remembering what a scriptwriter instructed you to say in a movie.

I understand that many here are concerned that the filmmakers have gone too far in exercising their creative license by replacing Kuririn with a generic teenager named Teto/Weaver, but I fear they won’t go far enough. If Fox so chooses to greenlight a Dragonball Z adaptation after this Dragonball one, then it can only be successful if Vegeta is replaced by a guy named Jorge who challenges Goku to a fight over whether Texas should remain part of the US or revert back to Mexico. During the fight, Jorge will reveal that Davy Crockett had been the first Super Saiyan 1000 years ago, and Goku’s Kaio-Ken will be replaced with a similar technique which requires him to yell “Remember the Alamo!” I would suggest having Carrie Underwood and the remaining Bee Gees perform a song especially written to accompany the fight. Hironobu Kageyama can have a cameo appearance in the song by singing one word.

Just 2 clarify, the circle on blondies shirt is most def’s not the capsule corp logo, theres a few dif versions of it bthey all have a li’l square box bit at the bottom that would show up if it was meant to be a pic of capsule corp logo.
Sooo looking forward 2 it ocmin out, but hey i cant c y ever1 just cant wait another 7 months or so and be happy wen FOX decides to release pics & stuff.
