Emmy Rossum (Bulma) updated her myspace blog today, confirming the end of filming.
That’s a Wrap
Hey guys,
Happy Easter! I hope you are all painting eggs, rolling eggs and eating lots of chocolate bunnies!
Sorry it’s been all quiet on the western front. I’ve been so busy in Mexico finishing up Dragonball but we just wrapped yesterday so I JUST got home and this is my first opportunity in front of my computer to write to you. It’s been nuts for about a month and a half working nights (on a schedule of about 5pm-8am) outside, but our spirits have been high and it was such a blast. I’ve missed writing to you but I’ve been exhausted after coming home from work early in the morning. I’m finally home (at least for a few weeks) and it’s a mixture of happy and sad. Wrapping a movie is kind of like the end of school, you miss all your friends that you’ve bonded with so much but you are eager for a little rest and a break from all the hard work. I’ll be starting work on something else in 3 weeks so I wont have much time to rest but I’m really looking forward to the simple things that I can enjoy while being home, getting to see my friends, sleeping in my own bed, hanging out with my puppies (who are growing so fast!) and eating at my favorite restaurants.
On another note, due to some personal things that have been going on with my family, I’m getting involved in a new charitable outreach that I’ll be able to tell you about soon. It’s something really close to my heart so I hope to share that with you and raise awareness as much as we can.
I worked out how to video blog (bear with me, please) so I’ll be sending you something later this week.
We’ve added new scenery pictures used briefly in the movie in a place called Ramales Zacateca in Sierra de organos. You can view the pics in our gallery.
One of my most reliable sources has given me this story that has left me frozen and I believe you also, as someone very close to the production and much credibility he has revealed two things very important:
- The first: The change that was announced a few days ago is not definitive, because they had thought release in August this year, but they saw they had no time enough for editing and special effects, which is why they decided to delay the premiere.
- Second: The release date they are driving for at the moment and still being studied for the production and 20th Century Fox is December 2008. It is not official, nor safe … But it is likely that there will be changes in the release date.
So it seems that the distrust of many fans had reason this regard. It certainly was not an official statement of the Fox … Probably the only officer was Christina Inman did to my blog, but here is only an office in Mexico and do not take such decisions, so we can change.
So it’s likely the movie will be released in December of 2008! I really hope that’s the date they use, as it would be perfect.
Movieland reports that filming will end March 15th in Durango, but they will finish in late March or early April in Los Angeles (remember a short percentage of the film will be shot in LA like previously reported).
– One of my most reliable sources have confirmed to me that the film will not end completely this Friday or Saturday in Durango … The main actors if just this week, but production will continue here until late March or early April … why? Several scenes are filmed but not by the protagonists, whether standing Easter is why we do not have an exact date for completing the filming, but it is safe to assume it will complete on the month of March.
– Where shoot after Durango? The same source confirmed that to me on Monday and will be working in Los Angeles in the post-production and no longer will be shot anywhere else after finishing in Durango.
- On Saturday at the farewell party, I commented that Justin Chatwin was dressed as a “cowboy” and not take a lot, walked a while with a cerceva girl in the hand. In addition to postage very well with the people who requested it autograph or photo.
Even more contradictions! The sooner we get some official news the better. I can’t wait until American magazines and publications start releasing articles and promotional photos…
Movieland reports that on March 8th, the press and the production team for Dragonball had a farewell party, due to filming being complete in Durango.
Farewell party to Dragonball
On Saturday March 8 [there was a] farewell party for the entire production of Dragonball in the Disco-Bar: “Las Palomas” found in the historic city centre … This festival were invited different people from politics in Durango, as well as reporters from various newspapers covering [the] film.
One of my sources had access to these festivals for 23:00 pm. He had not reached the actors or the director. Wing festival attended by producers, camera, double, some extras, and so on. He saw an actor of more than two metres, maybe 2.15 meters, and a filter to be very strong to Goku.
My source had to leave for another engagement at 23:30 pm., But I understand that for 12:15 pm. Arrived actors and director … The only thing lacking was Chow Yun fat since he was gone since the previous day.
In these festivals there was buffet with various dishes and drinks for guests. Apparently, the 14 or March 15 will terminate the filming of Dragonball in Durango.
