Joon Park as YamchaEmmy Rossum as BulmaChatwin as Goku 2
Chatwin as Goku Jamie Chung as Chi-Chi
Chow Yun-Fat as Roshi

Included in the translations are comments from the cast, and the director James Wong!

Goku – Justin Chatwin
I think it is an honor to play Goku. He is a universal character, as if a reincarnation of Luke Skywalker, really great character to play. Goku always takes action himself, is positive thinking, helps the weak. He had a great influence on myself.

Chi-Chi – Jamie Chung
This movie is the first action movie for me. I’m very proud of my first work in such a large scale. I enjoyed the martial arts training and everyone tried very hard. This movie is sure to be special,
please see this.

Yamcha – Joon Park
When I was a child, I had a lot of Japanese friends, I was familiar with Dragonball’s characters. Manga is a part of my life. Yamcha is an ironic and humorous character. He talks tough, but actually he is soft and a little weak on the inside. Please pay attention to his change through the journey.

Bulma – Emmy Rossum
Bulma is very funky, sexy and strong-minded, a wonderful character. I’m very happy to be able to play this role. I feel responsible for this role because there are many fan of the original manga. We are working hard to please the fans.

Master Roshi – Chow Yun-Fat
Master Roshi is a very funny guy. Anyway… he’s funny (laugh) Indeed, it is my first time in my career to play a manga character like this. Normally I can’t play a 300 year old man, but I enjoy playing this role. The director is doing good job, I think he mixes Eastern and Western culture well.

Dragonball is the best-seller manga from Weekly Shonen Jump. Original manga is made up of 42 volumes in a epic story. The animation has aired overseas, and has hardcore fans all over the world. But how will they make it into a movie ?

“Original manga is definitely a classic. Due to time constraints, I’m sorry I can’t adopt all the wonderful things from the original, but I’m happy I’m involved in this movie and I think it turned out well. I think the manga readers will find [many] things they have liked in the manga, that is, the spirit of the original,” director James Wong said.

Final Destination (2000), The One (2001) and etc. have received high acclaim for [their] own visual style, and we are anticipating the visual stylings in Dragonball!

First of all I just want to say this movie looks disapointing & I really hope the director of Dragonball reads this…Still, doesnt mean im not going to watch the movie.

They should definitely get another actor to play Goku, common Justin Chatwin? He looks like a god damn WIMP! If their keeping him (they most likely are) he really should hit the weights, get more muscles man. I am a hardcore DBZ fan, and from what I remember, Goku is a tank not a little wimp.

And yo where the hell is Krillin!!8O :? You’re going to make a Dragonball movie without one of the most important characters!? :?

And I really want to know how the directors are gunna make the Super Saiynes!!
This movie looks alright, but if they take their time, it could be perfection:D

P.S GET SOMEONE TO PLAY KRILLIN!! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING!!
AND IF U DONT GET A COOL VAGETA FOR THE NEXT MOVIE, U COMPLETLY LOST ME AS A FAN!!!

YOOOO the actor of Master Roshi should shave his head and grow a friken beard!!!!
PLZZ make the movie like the anime show, if u dont im pretty sure u will lose ALOT of fans.
Director: plzzz get someone to play Krillin, you cant completly cut him out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?
    Justin Chatwin: HIT THE WEIGHTS!!!

    REALL TALKS!!

Trailor looks ok. I still think it’s gonna b a ok movie but not like we all imagined. Check this bollywood actor “hritik roshan”, he looks and built like goku. His nose does, or atleast that’s what I think.
