Enough remakes already. Please it’s not that hard to be original. The characters have horrible costumes too. wtf is that shit. I refuse any variation of dragon ball where Bulma’s hair isn’t blue.

if they’re going to make DBZ movie, the proper cast should be :
son goku – takuya
chi chi – Song Hye-kyo look-a-like
roshi – chow yun fat ok but hair should be bold & have beard
bulma – the current actor look hot enough

This movie is going to be such a stupid joke and a disgrace to the great manga and anime that is the Dragon Ball Trilogy. Having Goku as a high school student…he was never a high school student in the series and Bulma did not have brown hair either. This movie is gonna flop.

The pictures are… OKAY.
But I prefer to not have such major changes in their character? Appearance-wise. It will make up for it if they definitely act the part.
But… I’m the kind who loves keeping the proper traditional things in a series. Like… Goku wearing orange-red with blue?

Bulma looks very pretty (though I’d have wanted to see them try at blue hair lol) and Goku is quite good-looking too and the hair’s not bad! Yamcha… I just kinda lol’d… cause he looks sorta.. ummmmm… aged? XD

Roshi’s fine I guess. Since it IS an adaptation… I just hope he better wear his sunglasses at least ONCE in the movie… and his shell would totally make it okay for me lol.

ChiChi… yeah. Still yet to see anything about her.

Overall… it looks like I might give it a chance to watch.
Just because I’ve been a fan since like I was 5 years old…
But I will be angry if they don’t pull it off well.

The whole thing about Goku going to school still sorta makes me twitch though :/
Cause… Goku was like ‘away’ from the modern world, he only basically knew the stuff Gohan taught him as well as the stuff around him in the whole… for lack of a better word: ‘wilderness’ thing. So he’s a bit on the innocent and ‘clueless’ side when it comes to the modern world– then again he’s not the child-version, so. XD
So. I’ll stop my little rant here lol.

Anyway, I’m gonna give this a chance still :/
Until I see the movie– I can’t say it would be awesome… OR bad.

This movie is going to be fucking gay. I am one of the biggest dbz fans in the world. The real thing I’m waiting for is “DragonBall Online”, which is a true continuation of the dragon ball series written from Akira Toriyama himself. Goku’s character was portrayed just wrong man….way too wrong. They could’ve fixed up the hairs for all the actors and actresses too….Goku’s hair might look hard to duplicate, but just make a wig or some guy with a lot of hair. Goku needs to be played by a kid actor too.

I wish people stop going on and on about Stephen Chow when they talk of this flick.
He’s not even involved in the production, since Fox just snubbed every one of his ideas!!

I am suprised DB is still alive, they just won’t let it die in peace. But anyway this movie looks awsome, i know im gonna watch it when it gets out.

i love the the cartoon but think this movie would be hard like so far they havent said anything about krillian,tien,tambourine or pilaf and they play a big part in the cartoon like goku goes after piccolo because tambourine killed him.and tien tried to stop piccolo with the evil containment wave while goku was at corrins tower . and chi chi was barley in the piccolo saga they shoud have started from the beging and if they even try to pass justin chatwin as 15 (thats when he defeats piccolo) then thats just dum and where is yajarobe. and why isnt goke asian. this movie might ruin dragonball for me

YamiRock seems to be the only honest person here this movie will suck yes I might see it but only as a bootleg because it’s not worth seeing on the big screen that and the fact tha I don’t support the racism envolved in the selection of the cast so what GOKU was an alien but BULMA was definitely asian and they just got rid of KRILLIN cause there hasn’t been a white monk since David Caradeen so I repeat if I do see this racist adaptation it’ll be bootleg only

I think this movie is going to be GOOD.Not GREAT,or ASWOME or AMAZING just GOOD.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, the movie could be really awesome, no one knows yet. So all we can do is wait for an actual trailer or the movie itself to come out.

Re-cast yamcha and chchi. They look nothing like their anime counterparts. And aren’t they all white? Except for maybe vegeta. Make the hair bigger and more like the show. Ditch the goku school nonsense. I’m not happy with this. I’ll more than likely just check it out on DVD. At least I have the whole DB collection to watch.

Justin Chatwhatever looks awful as Goku..just plain awful…could’ve buffed him up or something..and that hair is just plain awful…I’m gonna actually watch the movie before I say it looks like it’s going to be shit, but these pics aren’t helping any..

I am glad they are making a DBZ live action movie, but after seeing these pictures, I’m kinda let down. None of the characters look like they do in the cartoon/manga. They don’t even have the same costumes!!!

But, then again it is really early to be saying anything about the film, i do have to admit that Goku’s hair is better than i expected. I just hope the characters look more like they should when the movie comes out.

JFYI, we do not call pleople who watches Dragonball GT a “Dragonball fan” in Japan.
It was a kiddy show made for the younger age kids, so that the Dragonball toys would sell.
Basically, the “Dragonball fans” in Japan hated Dragonball GT, and do not interprate it as one of Dragonball.
Also, if you didin’t know, it was NOT written by Akira Toriyama.
Please, do a little homework before you call yourself a fan.

And for all the rest, I do understand the feelings on not liking what you see in the pictures.
But watch your language, and have respect for what some people are trying to do their best in.

Now they BETTER make a sequel with Vegeta! The Saiyan saga needs it’s own movie. The best saga hands down (With the Frieza saga coming in close behind). A movie with a Saiyan semi-invasion would kick ass. Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta! Oh My!

I’m not really sure what to think here, the idea itself is really good.
With today’s special effects and such this could be one hell of a movie.
The cast is where I raise my eyebrow though…
They don’t really seem to suit their parts (just a first impression, don’t pin me down on it).
The only thing which REALLY worries me is wether or not they’ll include Vegeta in it, and if so (which I hope), THEY’D BETTER NOT MAKE HIS ROLE SUCK (to make it suck would be blasphamy)!

…Yea you guessed it, Vegeta was always my favorite.

Anyway, all we can do at this moment is wait, so only time will tell.
