Everyone says someting good I am glad for the cast and I am glad for what they said. I have no complaints for Goku execpt for they having a guy like this play but I am glad that the made Goku look his same race and his color and by the way Goku is an alien with some human genics and they have no color.

i think the movie is going to be great,the diffrent Dragonballz series lke,DBZ,or DBGT,is hints of sequels to this movie,i hope there be great speicial effects,but little dissapoited about no super sainyans yeah

I personally think this movie is going to be a major let down due to the fact of all the major changes…everyone says oh i am tired of all the old episodes and re make games…but if they keep the changes in this movie i just believe its gonna push true fans away….just another fine example of Hollywood raping us for a dollar….How hard would it of been to have the writters sit down and just watch the episodes in which this movie is going to cover…then they would know that (as everyone has already pointed out)..krillin isn’t in it, the mistakes with master roshi, the lead character lookin ABSOLUTELY nothing like the series, no blue hair bulma, and many more….and the only thing that just shows about Hollywood not givin a shit about anything…GOKU WASN’T IN HIGH SCHOOL WTF IS UP WITH THAT???????

they are trying to modernize it and make the character’s seem more realistic and blurr the lines of reality. also Roshi’s character won’t be too bad… chow yung-fat seems to be hinting at the fact that roshi is as perverted as ever

I think they could have gotten rid of ChiChi and put Krillin instead. He played a bigger role in this saga with Piccolo.

This movie goes nothing with the story. Why even make the movie at all? This is easily answered, MONEY. This movie will suck and people like me know this, but will see it anyway-for fun/curiosity. I don’t like to judge before a movie comes out, but sometimes you can just tell. Toys will be made, video games will be half assed, and new cartoons will be made in Flash. I will always come home in the real DB worlds by just watching the cartoons unedited, and reading the manga. This movie is just… I don’t see Akira working at all with this, and he really should. But he made his money and I think he’s just tired of DB all together. He was pissed about DBGT, and probably just gave up at this point and said, “Yeah, just send me a check…”. We don’t need or want a new “Vision” of DB or DBZ, we go to see what we fell in love with in the first place. Oh well… Maby one day, someone will remake this movie like all other movies out there but make it closer to what it should be. Goku should be a kid, not a story of a young man falling in love. And everyone here knows Goku’s personality, it will change to a more “Dark” character to suit today’s stupid mass audiences. All I want in a Live Action DB movie is start with kid Goku VS Palif, RR army, then Piccolo. It makes three movies for DB alone. Then DBZ movies could go in order Saiyan, Freeza, Cell/Androids, Buu. Why is that so hard? Compact the story with out giving an inch. Look at Lord of the Rings. It gave up Tom Bumble dill-not sure of spelling-but he wasn’t that important anyway like Sa-now or Snow from penguin village. I could understand that, but no Palif??? He was VERY important to DB!!! I’m ranting now, so … this movie is NOT DragonBall.

well i just wanted to let the producers and all who’s working on the film, that i know it’s hard to mirror match the way the characters are on the show but try and do the best you can. All we (the fans) want is you not to mess up the most exciting cartoon ever.

I am excited to see how this movie turns out. I am slightly dissapointed in the fact that not all characters resemble the originals but Justin Chatwin resembles Goku more than any actor in this world probably would. And everyone who thinks this will be a dissapointment? Remember It’s just DRAGONBALL. None of the story in this takes place during the DBZ era. Rest assured, if this fails, we have DBZ to look forward to after the 3 Dragonball movies. But I think this will turn out great honestly. It’s just the special effects I’m hoping will turn out amazing.

Guys, guys. We are all hardcore DBZ fans (at least some of us) and we should all know when a classic is going to be shitted on. They are changing aspects of DB that make it DB. Why the hell is every cast member japanese expect for the two most important fighters, and if you’ve seen Kami’s lookout for the movie you would know that it’s not in the sky. And why the hell is Goku a freakin teenager? When the hell is he a teen in the Dragonball series? As excited as I am to see a DB movie coming to life, I know deep down in my DBZ hardcore fan bones that this movie is gonna suck hella ass…… Sorry.

I have to agree with D_None. There’s so many things wrong with this. If they wanted to have an older Goku, they should have made a DBZ film. And of all the characters to be left out: Krillin? Really? This is indeed a sad day for all of us who grew up watching this series.

All i have to say is the movie does look interesting and personally i think the movie would be more of a success if it wasnt called dragon ball. Im impressed that there even trying to make it. I have the original dragon ball live action movie from i think it was early 90’s or late 80’s and i liked that one even though there was no krillen. but i really wish kirllen could be in this movie no matter how many times he gets beat hes still an awesome character. I have to admit piccolo looks great but wheres his anteni?????? wheres gokus tail? where yamchas sword? where master roshis turtle shell? i have to say im gonna go see it just cuz im curious but i have a feeling its just gonna be a good martial arts film not a great adaptation of dragon ball.

I think dragonball the movie is going to be a hit and I wish they would make a movie for every saga in the series. Piccalo looks mean and evil like he should. Goku looks pure hearted and strong just like the anime goku and chi chi looks great. But the real pay off in this movie is what they are going to look like when they power up and how they work as a team which they do every time in the manga. Anyway Im going to see this movie and probably buy it suck or not becuase Dragonball z changed my life and gave me somthing to live for. By the way if you people were real fans you would nt put the movie down if you have any love at all for the anime!
