This is great plot material. Chi Chi didn’t have as big of a role as she should have in Dragon Ball, Mai as a fake Chi Chi could spark a huge betrayal sub plot with her trying to break up Goku and the gang. Like Bulma and Yamacha will think she can’t be trusted, while Goku thinks everything is fine (because of his naive nature).

haha its an adaption, you said colour not race ….And i also think that Akira should have been apart of this movie but hes not and there isnt that much we can do about it …But the thing is there are no decent Asian actors out there that could potray Goku, at least chatwin looks like goku and can actually act.

You know what really tickles my balls? The fact that a guy like chatwin even exists… It’s almost as if he had plastic surgery to make himself the spitting image of Goku. There’s litterally no one else who looks as accurate on this planet. Back in 2002 when I learned of the live action movie for the first time, I thought they’d cast someone who looked waaaaaaay off but could fight at least, but damn did they nail it. We can only hope he’s a beast in the ring and a pussy cat outside of it to get goku nearly perfect. From what chung says, he did which is comforting. See how I made all this relevant?

The only way this movie will be a success is with good acting…and directing, as the story is already a success.
