I dont know about you guys but Ive been feeling pretty good about this movie lately.

It was Piccolo Jr who developed that “skill” (if you can call it that way) to regenerate. King Piccolo didnt know how to regenerate. Piccolo Jr trained to master that skill to avoid getting killed the same way his father did.

@Sharzademar: I’d be happy if they made Goku seem like the Martyr but not after the Frieza saga…he ends up as a Martyr in the Cell saga too. That saga has Cell, imo the best villain in the series, Trunks…my personal favorite good guy, and SSJ Vegeta…

not to mention the androids..who were all BA…

personally I just really wanna see Trunks in the big screen..but if it stops at the end of the Frieza saga, then I’ll live…that was one of the longest, most intense battles of the whole anime.

Yeah Raditz should come at the end of the movie…. and he should be played by Tom Welling , does anyone have a good reason not to cast him, he does look like Chatwin. and Shin Koyamada should play Vageta in part Z, i know your thinking that it should be played by Ray Park, but it gives the impression that all Saiyan are white.and he looks way to old to be bulma’s husband anyway.
How sad, out of this whole movie theres not one Japanese person in it. So i think Shin should be Vegeta prince of all saiyans. OK I KNOW HE HAS TO EAT AND HIT THE GYM!!!!!!!………. but i know he can pull it off.

I hope that the name dragon ball is honoured with all force by this movie, I hope that the fox knows what is doing.

I think the first movie should end with piccolo killing both raditz and goku with the beam cannon, so people think goku is dead at the end. only to show some surprise after the end credits. That way they wouldn’t have to worry about the raditz fight in the second movie and we could have both the vegeta and freeza sagas in one movie.

I just don’t want to have to wait til the 3rd movie to see goku go super. i guess i’m just searching for away to not have to wait that long.

has there been any talk about a possible videogame for the movie? that might be pretty sweet

I’m like you all, a big fan of dragon ball manga and i would never accept people make such bad movie about it. WE all cannot accept such bad story with no logic and no dragon ball spirit. If they can’t do it right, please stop that… NO more to say….

The reason that King Piccolo couldn’t regenerate, at least story wise, is that he wasn’t a true Namek- just the evil portion of one. By being born, Piccolo Jr was transformed into an actual Namek, so he has all the abilities of a Namek.

Other than that, the alien stuff wasn’t planned so far back in Dragonball. It was after that King Piccolo saga that it was even hinted it. Before that, he was just a demon.

We all know that Fox is the first to say yes on that complicate experience and task, So i can tell all of them thanks But Don’t puch away the dragon ball Spirit. And if you really want to have a sold out on all countries and world, PLease respect that spirirt. Take your time to watch the manga and do the right things. No one can make db movies without that spirit. Don’t make such mistakes……….

So this one time, I turned into Batman and fought the Joker on top of a skyscraper and he told me about his scars. It was a good time and I saved a dude. That dude was happy and he happened to be an executive up at Fox, so I went in secret because Warner Brothers wouldn’t have liked it if they knew I went to go see Dragonball, so using my learned ninja skills, I went with the executive to go see a private showing and it was amazing. The CGI was awesome and Piccolo looked alot like James Marsters…I was intrigued but I came to love it. Goku kills Piccolo at one point and his body turns into a boulder and falls on Tito (who they explained to be Krillin). Goku didn’t like it and brought him back and they had a giant Yu-Gi-Oh battle in the middle of the desert and Piccolo pulled out Exodia, and they cut out there.

It was pretty sweet.

King Piccolo is not a true Namek. Kami is. That’s also why most of his children are not Nameks. Only Piccolo Jr. was (and Jr. is a true namek.)

And again, the whole Namek thing was formulated after Piccolo’s introduction.

But, away from that and back on topic- it’s good to know Fox likes the movie, but I didn’t really think they wouldn’t. The movie is coming whether people want to believe it or not- it’s just a matter of whether you want to show your support for it. I for one can’t wait.

ok granted they might be able to pull this movie off… i figured out a better way to make the movie in which I’m pretty sure they didnt do…

they need to make dragonball like the fantasy it is… take a look at some of the episodes, especially the original japanese version which the kind of music it has…

now look at somethingn like the movie legend or something… it has that fantasy feel… the only thing that really would need to be done differently is to make it a lot more epic, but still carry the fantasy feeling that dragonball actually has… keeping the fantasy style would allow for unrealistic “ridiculous” looking characters … hence all the crazy looking characters in the movie LEGEND
