@die hard fan: Half of your comment I’m gunna ignore…but when you get to the TMNT and Mario movies…I have to draw the line. As little that the Mario Brothers film may have had to do with the created Nintendo world…how can you seriously make a video game that is THAT unrealistic and hope to make people go home and go “how cool would it be if that happened?”…It just wouldn’t make any sense.

Your not going to have a grown man that happens to be a plumber running around and jumping on mushroom shaped goombas and expect to enjoy it. Adaption have to be made in order for it to seem somewhat possible. I mean, I personally thought the Mario movie was a great movie to watch, I have it with my other DVDs in my room but in no way can I say it matches perfectly with the game…Honestly, how many game or book or w/e to movie adaptations are exactly the same in every way?? Its going to be just the same with the Dragonball film, if you want the original, last I heard, they’re up to the sixth or seventh season of DBZ on DVD that you can buy for like $35…go get that.

I have 3 things to say :
1. These H-R pics look quite disappointing and so fade, nothing to dig in (let’s not talk about Goku )
2. This up-coming movie doesn’t seem to flow with the spirit of the manga, at all… I mean, since when did Goku dress-up trendy like – what’s up with the purple shirt ?

I just got through looking at every inch i can of this website and im impressed but When the crap are we going to see a teaser trailer or trailer. My opinion on the new look of piccolo if its what he will look like in the movie is its ok but I still think it should be a bit more orininal.

OK… I have been a DBZ fan since i was like 10 years old… and before i saw any of this material i thought to myself “Why the hell would you make a Dragonball live action movie? How the hell could you do it and do it well?” Well after seeing these pictures and stuff i have only been proven right. This looks AWFUL!!!!! I can not believe these people actually think this is a good idea! This movie should have been done Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children style… ALL CG!!!! It’s the only way this movie can be done the way it should be done. Akira Toriyama is going to crap his pants when he sees this movie. Not only would the movie look 1000000000 times better but they could also get the original voice actors of the series to do the VO work and it would just make for an amazing film. Also if you want anymore proof of how bad a live action DB movie can be, do a little google search and i guarantee you will find a chinese made live action DB film that is AWFUL!!! Now i dont think that this film will be as bad as that film but It’s gonna be damn close. I plan on seeing this film jsut because i want to have every right to say THIS MOVIE IS AWFUL!! And should i be proven wrong (highly unlikely) i’ll have no problem retracting my statements but I honestly dont see that happening. Well to all of you people who are so excited about this i will be praying for your well being because you may have a heart attack at the shock of this movie’s badness. Good luck and happy thoughts to all of you…

It never fails to surprise me how often millions of dollars are wasted making a second-rate, watered-down version of a great anime saga. Piccolo is not pale white. I’m sure the producers and the directors will make an interesting film, although, the content of which will corrupted from jump. The saddest part of all of this, is that there is a great many movie creators that could make a faithful representation of both characters, and storyline. I commend you for the initiative and ability to follow-through as you obviously have. DON’T RUIN THIS FOR EVERYONE! Please take a moment, take a breath, and decide if this is the way to start a movie franchise. This could be the difference between 17 million opening weekend and 65 million.
