Lemme guess, I can sum up on what this movie will be. This movie will probably be a test when it’s finally in production from the reviews like for example the street fighter movie from the past. Realizing their failed attempt to make a Dragon Ball movie, they will have to wait for an extra 2 to 5 years so that they can change the characters and change the plot of this movie to make it possibly better or alot worst just like the mortal kombat movies. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve been a DBZ fan since I saw the early episodes back in 95 when it first came on fox. I just don’t wanna see a crappy DBZ movie. One more thing, if that’s piccolo then this movie should be stopped… NOW!!!

I didn’t know how they would get the look and feel of the cartoon to come across on the big screen, but after seeing the trailer myself, i do feel slightly dissapointed with it. To be honest i was hoping for them to cancel this but it looks like they’ve managed to produce some kind of film……

Picollo does not look right either i mean jeez….they coulda at least gave him antennae!!! and roshi in trailer….far tooo serious a character for somebody who in the cartoon is a perverted old man lol!!

Piccolo looks whack and I am disappointed it. I expected better; he is not even green, but maybe since this is King piccolo and not the piccolo goku fights a long side with he looks this way. At least I hope that is the reason.

I think this is very dissapointing. I’ve been watching DBZ since 1999, and I don’t like the look that FOX is going for this movie. I think they should have gotten the Wachowski brothers or something to work with the Japanese makers of the DBZ franchise to make this movie. HUGE dissapointment this movie looks to cheap. The characters looks wack, weak, and nothing like in the anime. If they couldn’t afford to make this movie right then they should’ve not made the movie at all. I think they should respect the makers of the DBZ franchise, and make this movie into a trilogy or something showing all the dragon ball saga’s from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Z to Dragon Ball GT. I MEAN THIS MOVIE LOOKS MORE LIKE A WEEKLY PRIMETIME SPECIAL ON FOX THAN A BIG HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE!!!!!! Let me make this movie. I’ll show them right.

Oh, my… A vampire Piccolo. But they will remake him, I guess. As a big fanatic I say the director needs to study MUCH, MUCH more about the DB universe, because we have A LOT of nonsenses in this movie(my sincere opinion).

No Kuririn, no Pilaf, Goku does not have black eyes and hair(saiyajin) and he is in the school(like a normal teen), Piccolo is not green, Roshi(Kame) is too young, Yamcha is a totally different guy, ETC… Well, they are putting elements that we see in the regular movies.

I know, this movie needs to attract not only the DB fans, but… the elements in the trash are what make DB the real DB, the elements for a really new movie, not just another action one. Bah, I wish I had the chance to give a hand with that… I cannot see another adaptation fall… A better job can be done with it. Good luck for all the involved.

PICCOLO looks awsome! I’m totally siked about the movie now. I was worry about how they were gonna do Piccolo. They nailed it with the makeup and the actor. James Marsters- come on folks, who can think of a better part for that role? Who do you think is gonna play Vegeta in part 2?

This will be an epic fail, the only good thing I have seen was the choice of James Marsters, mainly because he could be EASILY made to look like Piccolo, but no, they buggered that up. I mean what the hell? I think that should be an indication to everyone, if they can’t get something simple like that right, it is highly unlikely they will get anything else right, which is a complete and utter shame. In the right hands this movie could have spawned a trilogy easily; I will be surprised if this is not straight to DVD for the majority of the world.

first of all let me say that i grew up watching dbz and was in love with the story line and got into teh magmas later on… I absolutely died when i first herd the news of a dragon ball movie i thrilled at the idea that they were supposed to have a huge budget and a skilled director at hand. my thought was that of a “Dark Knight” type of movie not a “mighty morphing power rangers” type of movie. to say the least i was disappointed when i saw the cast list was all “D” list actors with terribly gay costumes (i wouldn’t even wish this on the sailor moon)… i agree the director should be shot so that this film doese not release and tarnish the dragon ball name… WORST MOVIE EVER!!
