If you wanted DB/DBZ to come out 100% in it’s entirety, then we would have at THE LEAST 3 movies for each Saga(like 10 I think) so that is 30 movies. Do you think that DBZ fans are hardcore enough to see 30 movies? If you said yes, you are right, BUT NOT ALL OF THE WORLD IS A DBZ FAN!!!!! And those are the people that Fox is trying to bring into the fold to enjoy the storyline.

You obvisouly do not understand marketing. Here are a few steps for this film:

1) Make a movie everyone will watch, fans and non fans
2) Make a toy line
3) Make a product for everything imaginable
4) This will make people who are already not into DBZ, look for older stuff to buy
5) Reproduce older products to get more money
6) Sit back and enjoy because this “product” has enough history that the new customers will eat all of the old items up!!

Marketing is alot more than simple posters and advertisements. You have to know where you are going to get the most money from and what age range you are going to get it from. In this case they want to attract the bubble-gum pre-teens who buy the shirts, toys, book bags, carrying cases.

I want a DB movie with fidelity to the anime/manga, but one DB movie that people take it serious too. That blue hair is an extreme. I want a DB not full fantasy movie, but neither a commercial full cliche-movie.

Wow! This movie looks freakin awesome!! I really really hope it isn’t a stupid blowout or a bust. That would stink. All I know is if it is a bust, alot of people will be very dissapointed. So i guess we’ll just have to wait. I hate waiting!

I have to be totally honest, James Marsters IS Piccolo but he is supposed to be green and have antenna. The rest of the costume is fine but why make such a drastic change to the character? Racism against Namekians, James does not want the make-up to go that far or do we have another Deanzilla on the loose etc…? The rest of the movie and characters look great but almost 5,500 (out of 11,000 +) voters on the poll agree that the change is not pleasing to the eye and other reasons as well. I’ll say this, “There is always time for change now or at least when the DBZ movie comes along!”
