I’ am not trying to argue with any Warner Bros employees posing as DB,Z,GT fans, but I’am trying to make a point to everyone that Goku is much different then what most people percieve him as. For instance every body thinks Goku is Stupid, slow, or retarted, but actually Goku is really just very intellegent, bright, and a very nice person. If you watch Dragonball episode 18 like Novashinron just said then you’ll see what I’am talking about, UNTIL THEN DON’T DEBATE WITH ME UNTIL YOU GET YOUR DRAGONBALL FACTS STAIGHT. Goku did recieved some degree of formal education. Some people or so called fans swear they know all there is to know about Goku and the rest of the Dragonball fanchise period, but they don’t. I garentee you that most of these SO CALLED FANS don’t even know Goku’s LAST NAME, NOW WATCH SOMEBODY ON HERE SAY: GOKU DOES’NT HAVE A FIRST NAME.

I don’t really remember of any episode where “classes” for Goku appeared, and I have the manga.

But tell us, how come the “smart” and “educated” Goku didn’t know what a girl was when he met Chi-chi? Explain us that.

Actually thats not true goku did know what a Girl was, you mean he did’nt know what a MARRIAGE was which was because that was’nt important at the time. Toriyama wanted Goku to be pure of heart and innocent. He wanted goku to “NOT know what MARRIAGE was on purpose” in order to REFLECT Goku’s pure innocence and child Naiveness. That does’nt mean goku is stupid, he just never heard of or seen a Marriage before. Also goku’s grandfather taught him how to treat girls with respect way before he even encountered Bulma. Any way Goku new what a girl was when he first meet Bulma at the begining of Dragonball. The only problem Goku had with girls was patting their crouch to find their balls, which was because he was like 12 or 13 years old and still a Virgin. It was all on done purpose to REFLECT his innocence and purity. You really don’t understand Dragonball do you?. Quit while you still can Warner Bros employee.

@Rammstein: OMG dude seriously i just told you what episode to watch and the time marker when roshi is teaching goku. Yes Goku did know what a girl was but didn’t know how to distinguish them from boys because Grandpa Gohan died while he was still young and never got to teach him those things. that aside fox decided to make one movie for the Dragon Ball series so yes there are things that are going to be left/ modified so as to fit it all in to a 2hour time span. Stop your B****ing and get over it. From all that i’ve seen they are staying pretty damn close to the original story. Personally i’m glad they are changing some things because that brings more excitement than rehashing the same old story line.
Oh and one last little rant for those people who argue about Bulma having a gun and being bad ass. In the anime she had a gun she shot Goku the first time that she met him. And the boys where always scared of her temper! thus where they got the gun slinging kick ass Bulma… now i know later on in the anime she’s always hiding and what not but i much prefer her taking more of an active role than JUST a genius.

Not at all. Goku touched Chi-chi in the genitals by accident and was surprised that she was different (so smart, isn’t he?). Chi-chi then made him promise he would marry her, and he didn’t know what marriage was and so he promised anyways.

Look I don’t care if they changed the story or what ever, I just don’t think they should make a live action movie of this. It just won’t work. I’m a huge fan of the series but i don’t think this was a good idea. A better idea would have been to make a feature length animated movie of the show. (Yes I know about the dragonball and z movies, but most of them barely went over an hour, if not less than an hour.)
