In my opinion, the movie was mostly, a complete disaster. There were a few positives:
* the destructive scene were awesome, especially of gohan’s house simply by a clench of a fist by piccolo was spectacular- as he is capable of that much strength
* the casts weren’t that bad. However, james masters as piccolo>>> legend
* and……thats about all i could think…which is bullcrap.

In contrast, there were negatives as well……..many many of them (seriously, i could go on for days):
* The legend about the dragonballs and shenron was not meant to be known by any of the main characters until we meet Bulma.
* “nameks” WTF”!!!! that isn’t meant to be mentioned at all….not until vegeta and nappa mention it.
* Whoever thought of including the character Mai and making her piccolo’s wing-girl…must have had total down syndrome….I mean, she is just a feeble bitch who knows nothin of fighting at all- both in anime or the manga so piccolo should have been better off without her….
* OOzaru, piccolo’s apprentice…hahahhaha…no way….the bloody thing is supposed to be ten folds stronger than the bloddy green elf…Furthermore, goku turning into oozaru during the eclipse?…pathetic.. and why is oozaru so small? and when goku returns to his human form, how the hell does goku’s outfit not get ripped apart?…
* WHERE THE HELL IS KAME!!..huh!….hope he wasnt the african american dude dressed as a priest, if he was, then how come he aint green….weren’t he and piccolo the same being.
* Whats with the flippin hand movement when executing the kamehameha?…the ones shown in the movie was pathetic…the anime one was old and quick but still great…think about it.
* The fight in the end…was good but part of it was shite….the part where goku flies towards piccolo while the two energy waves battle out against each other…that was shit and too quick…they should have at least made the scene similar to the one in the anime where goku and vegeta had the kamehameha v galick gun showdown…that would have been cool..

shenron wasnt there.
i totally predicted that.
just like in the silver surfer movie.
the big giant alien ( i forgot his name) was a cloud.
a fucking CLOUD!
but anyways, my guess is that this interview is bullshit.
who the fuck is this guy anyway?
he got an advanced screening FIVE MONTHS before the movie came out? he saw it WHILE they were redoing a scene? he saw it WAY BEFORE they started advertising? no.

yeah…that review is total BS, he failed to mention goku’s completely different character attitude (emo-kid rather than happy-go-lucky with a strong warrior side as a contrast)

whomever wrote this is nuts, and whoever supports this lame adaption is NOT a fan

“sure they changed some thing, but”…no..what they’ve done is scrap the source material and not even used the bare essentials

I would much rather have seen a CG FF7:Advent Children type film version, at least then they could realistically portray the characters without making it look cosplay

James Marsters said “I would have rather been fired than to mess up piccolo” well he IS a goos actor but seeing as he stayed non-green, just makes him look like a hypocrite

oh my god , my heart kinda stopped when i saw the trailer.. o my fucking god.. how?? why?? are the directors on drugs? all these years of waiting.. all those years man!!! why did the americans have to rape this movie.. my little sister could have create something much better!

i think… some director will wake up and do a remake on the movie, like how they did on the hulk.. the hulk on the first one look so peacefull…. and not enough rage…

so hopefully some one will do a remake and make it even better.. to where theyll add krillin.. make master roshi a” a perveted old man”… and goku…. um… be goku… and a monkey should look like a monkey.. not a monster who look like it came out of the toilet…..

6 years of waiting … and this is all they can come up with..

they dont know the heart of the dragon ball.. sadness
