The photos look cheesey; I had high hopes for this movie but i think they’re just going to screw it up. I hope they get serious for the next one.

doesnt anyone see anything WRONG with a WHITE MAN playing the role of an ‘ASIAN’ character? yet the only representation of asian characters are maintained in the supporting roles and of course the female lead?

this is socially unacceptable.

I am new to this, but I have spent the last hour reading over the posts… you all whine too much… I have been a dedicated DragonBall fan for many years… I have all the episodes of all 3 series made (even the lost episodes of GT) and all the movies, and I am still buying the remastered sets as they come out… hell I have even downloaded nearly 50 gigs of homemade music videos featuring the anime (among a few other things of non-mention that I didnt expect when I downloaded them)… I am a fan, and proud to say I am, but its sad when I see others saying they are fans and trash talking a movie no one has even seen yet… What right do you have to do this??? A real fan would wait until they saw the movie and then judged it afterwards, and still buys the movie for what it is, not for how it was… grow up people…

@DPA: this movie, hurt the franchise? by what means? Dragon Ball Z, at least by my opinion, has taken enough damage already………It no longer has the same appeal…………the movie didnt even blow up until the reshoot and delay exposure took off…..Fox is just trying to recover the money they spent, which at the time may have seemed wise…………..Dranball or Dragon Ball Z for that matter was completely washed up and watered down after the extension of the buu saga and not to mention the GT series…………………..Dragon ball/Ball Z had its greatest tenure during the Sayan and Namek saga………gave cartoon network monumental ratings, the series even managed to appear on Telemundo(spanish Television)……..the decline occured after the Android saga……the series became too repetetive.plus Gohan never did succeed his father, as it always was predicted in the previous sagas…..So no the film will not do any further damage than has already been done……the rest of the world thinks the DBZ concept is sillly anyway…….us fans and our praise for over the top action/combat and Hair…..IF YOU WILL
