this movie was ssssoooo lame yo.it had absolutly nothing to do with the actual dragonball series….here are the reasons why
1.goku wasnt american
2.goku’s granfather died while goku was around 6 years old
3.the kamehameha wave isnt a ball of gas and takes more than a damn night to master
4.you cannot move while performing a kamehameha wave!!!!!
5.yamcha met goku while goku was a kid…not at 18
6.goku didnt go to skool
7.picolo worked alone while he was evil(also had antennas and a turban)
8.goku wouldnt almost die from a bullet wound…he took a shotgun shell from point blank range while he was 8 and he lived…how a lil pistol gonna kill him???
9.kamehameha wave are meant to destroy…not bring back to life
10.goku cant turn into the great ape without his tail and once he leaves his great ape tranformation,he falls asleep and forgets what happens
11.the acting was terrible.
12.before goku could fly, he had a nimbus cloud…notta lame ass jeep
13.yamcha has an ‘x’ shaped scar on his face
there are plenty more thing wrong with this movie but i dont feel like typing any more…for all the people who watched this movie without any prior knowledge to the actual series,the movie is a terrible misinturpretation of dragonball

this is the worst movie ..ever maked…i love the cartoon dragonball z ….it was one one the best cartoon ever maked…and it sad..to see what they have maked of it in this movie….don`t rent it ….it`s not worth it…

I was really curious to see dragon ball movie but all my excitement got down when i saw it.the movie really sucks.It does’nt even resemble with dragon ball z anime.

The movie was awsome. They definitely should make more movies (eg.ike the vegeta saga, the freeza saga, the android/cell saga, and all the rest of the sagas). I loved the movie & the cartoon also. I’ve seen all episodes & this cartoon has really inspired me. I really hope they are going to make more movies to the end (which is the Kid Buu saga)

it really sucks that i did not finish the movie, DRAGON BALL EVOLUTION SUCKS! its the same as FAR CRY shit.
Japan makes good live action like prince of tennis / deathnote. AMERICAN movies like this sucks hard… good MOVIE EFFECTS mean shit

Why is it they keep on mixing americans with asian actors? The success of Rush hour 1, 2 and 3 doesn’t mean will be the success of other films having americans and asian going together. Look at the Forbidden Kingdom? It flops. They have Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Both are the best. But they mixed it with a white guy instead of another asian. It is a story of a monkey king which is a story long ago involving asians particularly, Chinese.

A forumer right here say, will you accept a Superman played by other nationality? I don’t think so. Eversince, Superman is well known to be played by an American actor. It is the same way Gokou was known to be a character created by a Japanese animator. So, why have a white guy play the role of Gokou? Yes, Gokou is an alien from other planet. How about Superman? Is he an American? Isn’t he, like Gokou, comes from another Planet?

i went to see this movie on wednesday april 8th and this movie is awful they made goku like piccolos slave when he transforms into the ozaru and its so cheesy and everything is just wrong and all you real DB fans out their will realise this, and will not like this movie. also the whole film is rushed. BAD MOVIE!!! SO DISAPOINTED!!
