- Spiderman games based on a movie based on a comic
- Lord of the Rings games based on a movie based on a book.
- Dragonball Z games based on an anime based on a manga.

That is a smart move, cause if the movie doesn’t make the money they planned at least the publishers and developers won’t waste any money making a videogame for a big console.

But PSP? That is…too small for a movie like this.

Well, actually, this is a pretty smart idea for a movie based video game. Why? Well, historically speaking, Movie-to-video-game adaptations have almost never been successful except for a lucky few games that truely shine.

But beyond that what could we possibly expect from a game like Dragonball Evolution? Something akin to Iron Man and Superman Returns? I can only imagine.

I think it’s a smart move. There’s already a plethera of Dragonball Z games across many consoles and hand-helds, so making a whole new batch of Dragonball-Movie based games would just pollute the consoles with even more unwanted games.

This I see more as a testing ground for a bigger game if the PSP one is successful.

I was thinking PS3 because of the adventure type game (and i got one)
But PSP is good and smart, i hope it will have good graphics like final fantasy crisis core

but this game is too intense to fit on a psp, i mean i’m expecting a 2.5 hour movie and a movie based game, which contains: Adventure type (like dbz sagas, but that game sucked) and dbz burst limit (that game was too short) so y don’t we geta game like one of those options

@goku jr: you obviously dont own a psp (of course im assuming, which is wrong but seems like, so..), the psp is not a next gem video game, sure, but its not that weak, it can easly fit in the psp, check crisis core or the next ff (dissidia), psp is not any portable …its like teen gohan…looks little but…well go ask cell

I hope they make an adventure/action-rpg game, im tired of playing fighting games (the ps2 ones are awesome but…getting boring).

This movie can be good, but no matter what…The game won’t.

I want it. I’m glad it’s a fighting game. I hope it’s like Shin Budokai: Another Road. Justin Chatwin is so fucking lucky. I would take down the entire Red Ribbon Army to play Goku. Pardon the reference to the original.

yea crisis core is a epic game with a epic ending and has great cut scenes and graphics and takes some time to finihs(not as long as other ff games)

i dont think the movie-based game of dragonball will be better than all of the current dbz games, but i hope its still goood , just hope it doesnt turn out like all the movie games which for most of em=FAIL XD
