Haqq is right. This will be worse than the Guyver movie. Now we’ll never see a real dragon ball movie.
they should have given it to the the guy that did Kung Fu Hustle he could have totally pulled off the real life anime look…and made it be action and fun.
Haqq, I feel your pain. I aint no DB and DBZ expert, but I watched a lot in my day, and this isnt giving me the same vibe as all. It reminds of sciefi chanell.
Master Roshi is like 40 in this movie and Goku is like 25.
…and dont even get me started on piccolo, the coolest character now looks like a star trek reject…
they also changed the friggin damn dragon balls? at least keep ONE thing that actually looks like Dragon Ball/Z/GT…HOLY…do they HAVE to change every single aspect of Dragon Ball for this stupid live movie?? before, that was the only things that actually looked like something from the anime/manga..now they made the stars in the dragon balls spin now?? now CLEARLY nothing is like the anime/manga…right now,i wouldnt be surprised if they made the friggin dragon into an american looking dragon instead of an asian type,style looking dragon..
DBZFREAK86..at least when they made those Marvel/DC movies they didnt change the friggin ass history..like with Batman, his history was his parents getting murdered in an alley after the theatres..Superman – he crashing down to Earth as a baby and getting adopted by the Kents..Spiderman – teenage loser gets bitten by a radio active spider and his uncle getting murdered by the person he could have stopped etc etc..
BUT in here they changed all of Dragon Ball’s history,characters bio,background,story etc..and u should probably already know the BIGGEST one of ALL..Goku and Chi-Chi goin to school..theres so much more why this friggin ass movie is TRASH…this FAKE ASS dragon ball is friggin RIDICULOUS!!

@Stevie B: Ummm in Dragonball there were like only three attacks ’screamed’ Kamehameha, Dondonpa, and Wolf Fang Fist… And Kamehameha was used more than any of them. You play the video games way too much.

jez, i think everyone needs to take a deep breth and calm down i know its grate that this film is actually being made but from what ive seen so far it isnt looking much better than those Mortal Kombat movies and those stank! Oh were they bad!

Its neither for me cause I saw Dragonball ever since I was little. So I’m excited for the movie. In my view point, even though some people say its going to bomb, I will consider it a blast.
im just saying that people need to keep in mind that this isnt a remake into live action its a movie with the concept, charectors and the 1 min 45 sec clip didnt really worent the hyper response that it has got
wether or not its a bomb (from a fans prospective) will mostly depend on the audences expectations

i just want to say i agree with everything you said us as fans have been waiting for a live action dragonball movie forever and that’s why i don’t understand the haters out there if this movie is as good as i think it will be the sequels based on dragonball z will be so much better than the first anyway more dragonball fans should think this way i just hope the haters don’t screw it up for the rest of us GO DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION.
so this movie is gonna be great is Goku a Sayin in this movie? and the dragonballs are created by 7 entities? where is Kami? I though Kami created the Balls? maybe the story will unfold in the movie…maybe Kami did creat them…cuz in the movie isn’t Piccilo “returning” to earth???
So hear’s the thing, I went to 4 movie theatres and none of them had the trailer, I don’t know what to do now. I’m worried about the lack of promotion. Fox don’t let us down.

Wow, this is going to turn out to be the best live-action movie, probably ever transitioned from cartoon to real life made so far! They found a great Goku (Justin Chatwin) and Bulma (Emma Rossum)!! And, WOOOW the effects look amazing!!! Im so excited!!! I hope this movie makes a killing in the box office, so all DBZ fans MUST ATTEND!!

so maybe it will end up at his side like in the anime?
