this movie is lame.none of the characters look like they are supposed to.i will admit james does a awesome piccolo voice:D .but it just looks so cheesy.ive been a DBZ fan for a long time:mrgreen: .i have alot of DBZ stuff and watch DBZ all the time.im glad they picked that guy to be roshi,the hair threw me off though.i was hoping the movie would be better i wouldnt pay to watch it.

He’s in school? So what. That is the only thing similar to spider man. And I doubt he’s a “Nerd”. He’s most likely classified as a ‘Nobody” in school which is why he’s unpopular. There could be many reasons why James Wong put him in high school. And one of them was listed on the forum. “A lot of the fans are either in the teenage years or older”. Well, I’m 18 and the high school thing works out for me. And besides, I like it being a little bit realistic. When I was 14 I used to DREAM of what it would be like if Dragon Ball was real, and I’m getting my wish.

And the theme song for the movie, it matches. It has the energy to match the oriental background the movie came from. Besides, all the Dragon Ball series had the Japanese music. It’s only right that they would use it; and f.y.i. I liked watching the original Dragon Ball episodes, you know, the ones in Japanese? The guitar music just doesn’t swing well with me. I must say that choosing Ayumi Hamasaki was an excellent choice.

All of this makes sense to me. And apparently only artistic people understand the movie AND the original series fully. Creative people think outside of the box, and obviously, all you haters can’t. There’s nothing you can do about the movie now that it has been made. So just let it flow already!

@TheUltimateDragonBallFan27: Goku said he wasn’t ready for Cell, he also constantly says he isn’t readt when he’s hungry and if you look at the part where him and Piccolo are flying it appears that Piccolo has him by the throat beating beating him so senseless he can’t put up a defense. Goku clearly wasn’t ready for Piccolo the first time and he knew that, he always knows his limits and is always willing to push them with every new challenge.

If there planning on making a sequel they should start it off with raditz coming to earth and kidnapping gohan,then goku and piccolo battle raditz and the rest of the movie should take place 6months later when nappa and vegeta arrive on earth

Also, I hope the movie ends with Piccallo spitting up an egg right before he dies. Or at least showing a flash of Raditz’ ship heading toward earth. to usher in the Saiyan movie. Oh god I think Id nut myself in the movie theater if that happened.

wow this movie looks amazing!!! I can’t wait to go see it!! I’m going to go when it opens in canada. Mai looks awsome and so does Yamcha’s flying car. The thing i’m realy looking forward to is the Kame Hame Ha because it looks amazing!! I also can’t wait to see the Mai vs. Chi Chi fight in HQ.

hi! from the looks on the trailer, the film is going to be a blockbuster! what bothers me a little is goku’s pants. hope it’s also orange and tucked-in like on piccolo’s so that his leg movements can be seen more clearly especially on fight scenes. aside from this, the film looks awesome. I can’t wait to see the look of a Supersaiyan after this! +

I guess the reason why the gold hair appeared during the transformation is to show that a black-haired supersaiyan is much stronger than a golden haired supersaiyan. u can see this as you compare a supersaiyan1,2,3 to a supersaiyan 4. i was surprised when i saw that golden hair upon the completion of the transformation, it never happened before. i might be wrong on my reason but that’s the only logical thing i can think of. +

(sorry if i’m getting a bit off topic) i think it would be better if they didn’t use dragonball z. i mean, they should still use the story lines, but just call all of the films dragonball. that way, there would be less confusuion for non-fans.

Although the story is a little off, I think this movie is going to make big bucks. I look forward to seeing Goku at his best as the years will go on. It reminds me of being a kid when I first heard that they were going to make the Mortal Kombat movie. I was definately ready, now that Dragon Ball Evo is about to come out, I’m ready to meet that inner child within me once more. Good luck.
