With Tyler himself conducting an 82-piece ensemble of the Hollywood Studio Symphony at the Newman Scoring Stage, the music to the film is appropriately percussive and big, taking full advantage of the large size of the orchestra. Melodic and even a big “Goldsmithian”, the score was orchestrated by Robert Elhai, Brad Warnaar, Dana Niu and Pakk Hui – all of whom were on hand to assist with any on-stage tweaks and adjustments.
Dragonball Evolution will be released by 20th Century Fox on April 8, 2009, and a soundtrack album is in the works.

I’m Going to Try and Put the Movie In Order Here
=> Movie Opens with Gohan and Goku Training
=> Gohan gives Goku a Dragonball and tells him to come home for Special Dinner
=> Mai Steals Bulmas Dragonball and Bulma sets out to Find her Dragonball
=> Goku in highschool doing average stuff until the Eclipse picture pops up and sets him into a trance, And the teacher tries to snap him out of it.
=> Bell rings and all the students run off except Goku. He see’s Chi-Chi struggling with her locker and Goku uses his KI to open her locker but accidentally opens all the lockers.
=> Goku finds out she knows about KI and Chi-Chi asks him to go to her party.
=> Goku goes home but doesn’t want Gohan to know about him ditching him so Goku sneaks in and sneaks out. But Gohan see’s Goku running away in the distance.
=> Gohan disappointed begins to meditate
=> Goku’s at the party and gets in a fight with the bullies, Chi-Chi finally breaks it up.
=> Goku and Chi-Chi talk and she tells him that she’s studying martial arts aswell and training under master Roshi
=> Mai busts down Gohans house chucking ninja stars at him but it’s no use, Gohans to Good. Piccolo walks in and Kills Gohan. Piccolo and Mai leave knowing the Dragonball is no longer there. Piccolo destroys the House then leaves.
=> Goku rushes home sensing somethings wrong.
=> Goku finds Gohan dead
=> Goku finds his Gi then Bulma goes into Gohans house looking for her Dragonball
=> Goku and Bulma set off to find Master Roshi
=> Goku finds Roshi in a room and Roshi starts attacking Goku.
=> Roshi finds out Goku is Gohans grandson.
=> They all set off to find the Dragonballs.
=> Roshi tells Goku about the Mystics and flashbacks start going.
=> Goku, Bulma and Roshi go off again but they meet Yamcha
=> Goku v.s Yamcha. Yamcha joins them.
=> They get to A Training ground and Chi-Chi is there
=> Goku secretly gives Chi-Chi a Dragonball just in case something happens
=> Goku, Bulma, Yamcha and Roshi find the dragonballs and they go meet Chi-Chi at the tournament.
=> Mai learns of the Dragonball at the tournament, and breaks into it.
=> Goku see’s Chi-Chi beat the shit outta Mai
=> Goku and the rest head to the Dragonball temple.
=> They all reach the Dragon temple and Chi-Chi fights Mai, and Goku fights Piccolo
=> Piccolo beats Goku and takes his Dragonballs
=> Piccolo puts the Dragonballs on the thing
=> The dragon thing rises but the Dragon does not appear
=> Mai realizes the Chi-Chi still has the Dragonball
=> Piccolo and Goku fight again
and im too bored to continue, most of what I put is inaccurate i think

do you think we are getting the movie later because the american verson will be enchanced? i look at the old trailer and see things like a bright green mafuba, and look at ours. things like our oozaru having red eyes and france having blue….i dont get it

i am diggin the new poster. THATS what a poster should look like. like for spiderman 3 they had just the right amount of “tease†to it. if i knew nothing about the movie, i would have flipped out if i saw this in theaters. it truly speaks dragonball. couldve been done with yamcha instead of mai, but who cares i wanna soak up every last bit of info until this movie comes out

In the game I played at New York Comic Con he fights Roshi, and then he fights Goku in his mind. It’s also mentioned in some of the game dialog that he kicks around Yamcha and Bulma. Also, he’s about 10-12 feet tall and pounds his chest a lot.
Sounds really cool, I like the idea between a fight between goku and ozaru in his mind. Its representation of the fight goku has to have with himself to become the planets savior or destroyer.
And kicking around bulma and yamcah for a while and beating his chest sounds awsome!!!

and they should have got bruce faulconer to do the music he was the SUPREME writer of Dragonball Z music.
Brian Tyler is an award-winning orchestral composer. I think he’s a little better than Bruce Falconer, who didn’t use anything more than a crappy synthesizer.
Bruce Faulconer is also an award-winning orchestral composer, just couldn’t use a full orchestra for dragonball because of budget issues.
If he had a larger budget and an orchestra to work with his music would have been unbelievable. Of course Funimation isn’t going to give Bruce Faulconer access to an entire orchestra for one tv show.
