by intergalactic I believe they mean this will help the characters become aware of the other planets and planes of existence. The history of the saiyans, the existence of namek and the NOT EVIL namekians. God damn it, Ben Ramsey is a jack ass for not knowing enough about the series to know Namekians are pure hearted and that Piccolo was pretty much the demon child of the species.

I hope Reborn revolves around the death and rebirth of Goku, and the battle of saiyan versus saiyan. Oozaru Vegeta VS The Chosen One . Piccolo’s “rebirth” as a warrior of good, after his murdering of goku to stop Raditz.

The sequel HAS to be 2 hours, with all the characters. Actually I’m surprised this movie isn’t 2 hours with Piccolo, Mai and Fulum assasins. Doesn’t give time for character developement of mai but thank god the fulum don’t need any characterization besides how they walk and act.

If Goku happens to die in this one or beginning of the sequel then Dragonball:Reborn is perfect.
If not then it should be Dragonball:Invasion or Dragonball:The Prince has come to whip your ass Kakorot.

That is stupid. Some of you need to think it over. How can they rise if the Saiyan race and their home planet was destroyed by Frieza by the time Goku was sent to earth as an infant.

hold on guys calm yourself down first of all it says “If there were to be a sequel” right now theres no sequel only until this first movie does well.

with a title called Dragonball: Reborn sounds more like a reboot of the film so thats not a good idea for a sequel its only good for a reboot. the film no way will call DBZ cause this Dragonball movie is completey different from the anime most likely will be called something else.

Dragonball: Eternal seems a good idea for a sequel
Dragonball: Rise of the Saiyans is a bad idea cause there is too many films with “Rise of…” most likely the film studios wont go with that.

Dragonball:Invasion is a good idea its straight to the point.

Well I’m hoping I’m not speaking out of ignorance here, I skipped a few pages because I refused to read the spoilers. Please keep them to yourself, if you can. Consider that if this follows the original then the Dragon will be destroyed after Piccolo gets his wish. So there’s an important clue to go with Chatwin’s comment about where a sequel will go. Kind of disappointed about the rating, it brings a younger crowd into the theater, but I don’t know whether that will enhance the box office take or not. Perhaps we’ll have to wait for the sequel for a more mature movie.

So there were two rumours of this movie

PG and 80 minutes long.

PG has turned out to be correct.

If 80 minutes turns out to be right as well then I will be very dissapointed. It is toooo short.

I hope it is 90+ minutes but I just realized that Jumper (fox movie) was 84 minutes and PG-13.

Here’s my fingers crossed that it goes the way of Batman Triumphant.

I hope this movie doesn’t end with a cliffhanger without knowing how well its gonna do in theaters. I’d love to see sequels but I hate when movies leave it open for more and then fail to make more. If its left open,hopefully its where if they never made a sequel,it still does well as a stand alone film. If Goku has to die,I’d prefer it in the beginning of the sequel and not the end of this one,but I’m pretty sure we have already had confirmation that if there were a sequel,he’d die in the beginning of it. Anywho,hope this movie rocks and does well enough at the box office to warrant sequels.

uh…DBiscool ,Dragonball Evolution’s running time is 100 minutes, that means its 1 hour and 40 min.
Now maybe im starting to relieze why the flim was delayed for so long. But then again Justin said “If there were to be a sequel” which means there all just waiting for it to hit the theaters and for the box office ratings. i read something a while back saying “if the flim is a succes at the box-office in its opening weekend, then 2 sequels will be in place” also “the kind of intergalactic world of Dragonball” in my estimation probably mean they mite focus more on the space voyages that happend in DBZ and also “goes more into the whole legacy and the genealogy of Dragonball” will probably mean they mite go into the history and/or legacy of Goku some more and/or Piccolo since during the sayian saga in DBZ when Rattiz arrived we learn about Goku’s past meaning Vegeta could be shown and after the battle with vegeta and nappa we learn about piccolos past

for me they should not made the movie start with piccolo they should start to saiyan saga then piccolo’s vengeance is only short part of it the for the part 2 they said its more inter galactic and that obviously mean that vegeta and freeza is involve now. nappa and raditz is not that so important thay only played short in DBZ. may be ginew forces will be the next assasins.

this is really terrible! theyre not gonna do a direct sequal ie. dragonball z , theyre gonna pretty much butcher up some stuff from here and there and do their own thing . wat they did to dragonball is forgiveable , but if they make dragonball z theyre owned butchered mutant love child of power rangers , fox fucked themselves with the whole world .

if piccolo jr is not gonna be in this movie then prolly wut they mean by Dragonball Reborn is when piccolo jr is born and krillin should definitely be in this one because he fought piccolo before any of the other Z fighters did. it even got goku into trying harder at the start of the match when he saw krillin get knocked into the arena rally hard on his back almost breaking his back. maybe mercinary tao is in this one where it would shpw tien fighting him. i heard at the end of the first movie goku will start to fight chi-chi and that’s wjhere the movie ends. anybody agree? i also think the 2nd one should be about goku and piccolo trying to rescue his son gohan and fighting garlic jr. tell me if u all also think it should be about this
