Ang Lee could make it wrong with Hulk (I don`t know, he used his oriental style, the monster looked more scared than disturbed) I said that Lee could make a good DB adaptation using his oriental style. It`s almost the same culture (DB is based on a chines legend so he must know about it).

But Del Toro would be my option 1. I don`t think about Chris Nolan, he is able to show a DB ending with Goku being chased by the police because Piccolo had a good public image. I t would be interesting but too crazy xD

Hey guys, I finally was able to post a comment since Wednesday afternoon. I can’t get into the website for unknown reason but I’m back. Anyway, I saw these pics from a different website since having problems getting in this website but they were cool. I’ve got say, I’m ready for this film to come into our theatres.

ahhh……I just had an epifiny for this movie. i dont like it. but thats okay cuz im def going to see it because i like DRAGONxBALL. Believe me im not about to flame this movie so no need to block me . im just saying. its a bittersweet feeling though. i dont no what to think. this movie is not dragonball, weve established that. as much as Fox wants to sugar cot it by using slogans like “the legend comes to life”. that is untrue. it should be something like “all new dragonball” or “a new adventure begins”. i mean i really cant look at this movie and say that its dragonball, but i want itt to be so bad. Its still a good action movie, and im gonna see just cuz im so excited that goku (albeit not the goku we all no and love) is gonna be on the big screen. i mean honestly if i was a director i would of found a way t o make a 2 and a half hour movie using the original material. but oh well. i dont care bout that stuff cuz this is where the revelation comes in. NO MATTER HOW BAD THIS MOVIE DOES, OR HOW MUCH ITS HATED, ITS NOT GOING TO BRING DOWN DRAGONBALL. well not for the haardcore fans anyway. look at street fighter. ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES I EVER SAW. but i was first on line for street fighter 4.. Its not the movie, but the mentality that you have when veiwing a franchise. Dragonball is a wonderfull story, but the movie changed it in so many ways, making it a different dragonball. but its okay. im not worried one bit. cuz im still gonna buy the dvds. im still gonna watch the show. and im still gonna love this franchise and i hope i can tell my kids the story of son goku. honestly i always pictured dragonball as a comedy/action/drama. im pretty sure they couldve fit the whole story into a movie. some of the manga books are only one fight, wich makes no sense, cuz fights shouldnt take up 124 pages of a manga volume, but thats dragonball! they couldve put in talking animals, and they couldve put a big green alien man as the main villain. and the oozaru couldve been a giant monkey cuz guess what….its dragonball. and if their is one thing that dragonball should teach you, is that magical elements of a story are the heart of the whole “dragonball world” as a whole. now im not complaining about this movie cuz i am still gonna support it cuz its involved with something i hold close to me. i cn still remember sitting home n a rainy saturday watching goku pummel a bad guy. but guess what guys, its nothing to complain about. really. if i can go back in time and stop them from making this movie, i wouldnt. because this has taught me a lesson. that when certain elements are taken away from a story, they do ot ruin the story but make an entirely new one. so sit back for the next 2 months, and get ready for the new dragonball……Dragonball Evolution

dude omg go see hulk that last battle scene was filmed across town from me, I heard the explosions go off while they were doing the filming and a friend of myn sold Eward Nortan and Ice Cream but didn’t even realize it was him at the time. LOLS

@1-2 Yamcha-Seeing as we’re sharing honest opinions, i have to agree with you.

It could be an okay movie however it has fallen short of what it could have been.
I just watched Dragonball peliminary Peril and i have to say Piccolo looks like crap in the movie compared tot he anime.It leads me to this question.Why did;nt they give him the purple GI? there is no reason other than Fox was too lazy or tight with the budget.My only complaint is I hate the live ation Piccolo.It dose’nt look nothing and i mean NOTHING like Piccolo.Not James fault but still it looks like shit.His head his to Bulbous.In the anime he looks like a badass cool guy.If it’s not juniour then i guess he looks fine.But helooks awfully young in these photos.The green they picked is shit as well.Other than that i love Goku,Bulma and Roshi.Chi CHi is all shit i think that Zhang yi girl should have been picked.Or someone else, there is no resemblance to chi chi whatsoever.Also the martial arts tournament.WHy did;nt they go with the outside one.Geez Fox.!

However despite all these changes it will be an ok movie and may even Rock.As lonmg as there is Goofy goku and ki blasts i;m sold.!!

WHatever the outcome.I hope in the near future they reboot the movie and make a more faithful one.That has all the elements of what made the story wonderful,without trying to make it Realistic.But more like a lord of the rings it could;’ve happend in the future or past type thing.

@cj thong: I respect your opinion but I respectfully disagree I hope they don’t reboot it I mean sometimes projects are in dire need of a reboot but I have never seen such a dedicated cast and crew before and I really believe in them….I’m not saying this will be the best Dragon Ball movie but it’s gonna be a hell of alot better than “The magic begins” and for me that’s good enough.

To anyone interested in the rating for Australian fans, it is rated PG for mild action violence. It also says the run time is 1hr and 20 mins :S
