I’m pretty sure the line you are referring to is taken out of context for the sake of the trailer. I believe the line is when they are talking about the kamehameha and Goku says something along the lines of “My grandpa told me I’m not ready for this technique”.

But even still, if I’m remembering wrong, you can’t say Goku never says the line in the anime. On the way to namek, he revealingly said he wasn’t ready to face whatever he was going to face on the planet, thus pumping himself up to train harder in the simulated gravity room.

If they are going to release more pictures we’ll see the whole movie (without sound) =))

Hey does piccolo have a chair like that in the Manga???

I love the colours used in all of the pictures so far. Its remniscent of the anime and yet it has its dark undertoned moments as well giving an ominous dark action flick feel. At lease the bright vivid colour we’ve seen so far hasn’t been like speed racer for that film they should have included a warning: Do not view if you have epilepsy or are prone to seizures. I got nauseated watching it but it was alright otherwise.

Pretty awsome…..The fast “but slow” motion fist fighting between roshi and goku reminded me of the first fight between morpheous and Neo………

@Jesse J: No, that is completely untrue. FUNImation royally screwed up the dubbing on that video. They called it ‘UNCUT’ but it was NOT uncut. They left out scenes like a Canassan getting stepped on by an Oozaru-form Bardock and the dialogue is completely different. The original dialogue has it that it was just Bardock having visions. The FUNI dub made up some lines like ‘you see it too, huh?’ as well as the scene where Goku talks to Bardock from the future telling him ‘it’s no too late to be a good guy’ was made up (the real version is just Bardock seeing Goku, who doesn’t say anything to him). Also, Bardock really doesn’t ’see the error of his ways’ while he’s being destroyed by Frieza’s death ball. He just says Ka.ka.rro.to.., smiles and dies. Then he tells Goku (just Bardocks voice) that Goku will avenge the Saiyans for him. Like I said, FUNImation messed up big time.
