I have to say that Justin chatwin acts like a pussy,he dosnt look like hes acting like Goku at all.I cant believe Goku had to do a barrel role over the fire,he would never do that he wood just walk trough it.The only part of this movie that will be good haves to be the ending with the Goku vs Picolo fight but remember guys there will be no blood since its a pg movie .They have showed at least 4 new clips of the movie and i could allready see some errors,im still gonna go see the movie and i really hope i change my mind about of what i just said coase in the end i only want good for this movie:)

The ony actors im liking right now are Emmy rosum and june park thats all.Some one who really dissapointed me whas Chow yun fat i dont no why james wong couldnt see that Chow wasnt a good choice to play Roshy lookslike hes 40 years old in the movie a little bit to old to play a guy like roshy who is like 500 years old lol the guy dosnt even sound like him or anything?

Ok just a little spoiler not too much of a giveaway, but that gun had poison, that is to help quell everyone’s fear about Goku being taken down by it. I know because I read the book. Goku is invulnerable to bullets but poison is something else.

WHo cares if Goku barrel rolled throught the fire!.It looked cool did’nt it/Geez.What looks cool you shouldnt bash.It would be terminator styles for him to walk through the fire like some he man idiot.It would look retarded.Geez.Also he was looking through the fire and saw two chi chi’s.Then he’s like wtf this i gotta see.It IS goku like because without even thinking twice he jumped throught the fire to see what was going on.Seriously Nit picking over and over again is not cool guys.Give this movie half a chance because your setting yourself up to be dissapointed.I honestly think all these people bitching or hating should just wait for the movie and quit torturing themselves with every new bit of info or footage that comes out.CLose your eyes untilt he movie is released.Your ruining ti for yourself!.Not anyone else.Frankly at the end of the day this movie is going to comee out regardless of anyones pointless opinions.

cj thong: also, if Goku were to walk through fire, his clothes would be set ON FIRE. And also, Goku would never walk through the fire. He’d jump over or through it, maybe burrow under it if the ground wasn’t cemented… But he’d never walk through it.

I have a question: I realize that the very existence of the two following sequels will solely depend on the success of this film and that if they do reach the quota needed to bring these movies to fruition that the will revolve around Vegeta in the 2nd and Frieza inthe 3rd however I have heard something about one of the key players of the movie saying Cell might be the most menacing villan and with that being said what are the chances, if the first 3 movie do really well, that Cell will be brought to life for the big screen?

Oh also I have another question regarding Cell: Being that he bares Sayian blood and manages to retain key traits of his Namekian blood by being able to regenerate and his Freiza traits by being able to breathe in space, can he, in theory, transform in the light of the full moon and of so, what kind of horrid monster would he become?

Oh and why wasn’t Trunks or Goten ever shown with a tail? Did they just nip that problem in the bud right away or what?

To many people confuse Dragonball with Dragonball Z. Its sad really because the are completely convinced they have it right when they are completely WRONG.

Goku didn’t die after he beat Frieza. He found a space pod and got to Yadrat.

Anyways, yeah, it’s stupid how fans can be.

They say stuff like “THIS IS NOTHING BUT A FUCKING RIPOFF ADAPTATION OF DBZ!!! MY CHILDHOOD’S RAAAAAAAAAAPED D’X”

Yeah. It’s an adaptation. Of Dragonball. Not of DBZ. And it was hard for them to make the movie. It’s such a huge series, Dragonball. Finding good actors for it that could have the “spirit” for the movie was hard work alone, all in it’s own. They went all around the world for finding good actors and thus – have an international cast. And as an adaptation, this movie at least follows major key points in Dragonball. By that I mean that they made 5 different scripts for the first movie from what I heard, can you believe that?! And in most allot of things did not make sense. And they chose the fifth draft, because it was as close to Dragonball as possible, without looking too much like it and making it look ridicilous. James Wong wasn’t even planning on making the first movie about Dragonball, but rather DBZ, from what I’ve heard. But I guess the people in Fox said it would be good if they show, with the first movie, the roots in a way. And so they did. To me, when an actor says “We worked our asses off and were puking by the end of the day to make the scenes look close to Dragonball as possible” or something like that, it tells me they worked hard. True, I can’t know if they just said it for the money or something like that. But hey, you’ve gotta try and believe, right?

At first I was skeptic, don’t get me wrong. But I thought long and hard about it and I look at it differently now. It’s like a re-telling of Dragonball, but different in a way. Like that 20 years anniversary anime movie that was made a while back. It combined many key points from the first few sagas, yet we never got to see Mai, Pilaf, Shu. No tournament battle. No Oozaru. But we saw Goku, Bulma, Yamcha, Roshi. We had the Red Ribbon Army. We didn’t see Krillin at all in that one, even though Krillin was already shown during the Red Ribbon Army saga. Android #8 was present, but in the anime he never fought Black and never got so battle damaged/die. The first wish on the Dragonballs was about panties by Oolong to prevent Pilaf from taking over the world. But that changed too. Since Pilaf wasn’t present in that anime movie, Goku was the one, who made the wish, wishing Eighter back to life.

And even still, the 20 years anniversary movie, didn’t follow the anime/manga story in it’s entirety and yet – it was a great anime movie.

Do you see what I am saying? As long as those “true fanz” that claim to have seen all of Dragonball don’t compare the movie to Dragonball Z and look at it from a different perspective, the movie may be a success and sequels will be made.

Oh no my childhood is ruined.It’s not a poxy carbon copy of the anime.WHeres the lenghty screaming powerups that sound like Goku is taking a shit,where’s the hair that’s bigger than fran drescher, where;s the talking gay little animals who’s voice makes you cringe evertime they try and act cute…This is blashepmy. bahahahahahahaha sarcasm of course.

I love this movie because of the CHANGES>! now i can watch it without feeling guilty like i;m watching some Kids show.It’s a movie for EVERYONE>not just one or the other.Those animal characters made it seem like Pokemon.Evrytime Puar screamed for Yamcha I just want to slap the little shit in the head.

I take back on what i said about losing hope for this movie kinda. It’s just i have a great passion for Dragon Ball and somethings just seems out of place. It’s like Fox are trying to play with my emotions or something

so boring…the actors not real and not same from the Drogonball cartoon…why not japane do this movie..coz this real story came from they……

Goku walking through fire yeah that would awesome, ha ha ha come on. My ? is how old are the most of the people who post here. Most time some of you guys don’t make any sense. Why do people expect a epic tale of adventure fit for oscar glory? Guys it’s DB.

I just want this to be a fun and enjoyable almost 90min trip to the cinema. I went to the opening of watchmen on Friday. A visually beautiful boring not so entertaining letdown although good at times it still had a bad ending and to much “BLUE PENIS”(For f@#ksakes why???) for any ones taste, Rorschach was just @#$$% brilliant and the actor who plays him will be my choice for Carnage if he ever get screen time in spider-man. But back to the point, hope DB entertains and do well enough to ensure and justify a bunch of sequels.

The previews started out crap but with time it became better and BETTER.
Pray to the powers that be and may this movie ROCK peace out buddiez.

i love how Bulma can take a direct ki blast from Goku and get up like its nothing. Its pretty clear Roshi and Piccolo are gonna carry this movie; kinda like the Joker in the Dark Knight.
