I watched it until they took it off the air soon after right when Goku went SSJ 3 and began his fight with Kid Buu. I read the entire manga afterwards and all I can say is Dragon Ball is hilarious. FUNImation’s editing took away much of that humor when I went back and watched it on TV.

but yeah.. lets hope a bunch of ppl watch it and somehow we get a new and better goku, cause justin is just not a good actor for a charactor like goku, but it will be hard to change him now thatthey made the first movie like that….. i dont know why the scrip is so damn awkward, i mean did this ben ramsey guywatch the show? im 100% confident if they used a more true to the source material the movies acting would of been better…. most of justins movies are him playing a troubled person, kinna to himself sad guy, goku is a happy go lucky guy.

i dont know ill get more then enough tickets to do my part to this movie but foxs gotta work with us too since we are gonna be the guys talking to our friends and promoting it to th eppl we know

I think chatwin is ok, my view is goku is a hard character to portray so I give props to any one who takes on this role. whether its true to the source or not it all depends on the middle. going to close to the source might be a bit of a risk, because it might come off as looking really stupid

Some people are hyping the movie way too much.

I saw the movie, it was good but not great lol, some pple are right here dont get ur hopes up to high. But in my opnion this was pretty good for a rushed movie. Hoopfully the sequel wont be rushed as this one and there will be alot of changes seeming that pple have so many complaints i guarentee theyll make the sequel much better. But if pple dont watch the movie there might not be a sequel seeming there losing money…..SO EVERYONE MUST WATCH IT GOOD OR BAD. I give it 7.5 out of 10.
Hopfully the next movie wont be rushed.

yea I feel like this movie does not need a reboot good or bad. If this movie fails horribly no one is going to want to touch it for at least the next ten years (ex. batman and robin) and I dont think dbz is that popular in america for it to be consider for a reboot. dbz belongs to the japanese (at least thats what I think)

but as of now the movie looks pretty good! and I am excited to see it! and I dont think its an epic fail like everyone is saying. Just enjoy the movie for what it is and if you dont like it you still have the anime to watch. OR take out a sweet bank loan and make your dbz movie. One that can be as faithful to the anime as you wish

Of course I do, I’m probably a bigger fan of American comics, especially when it comes to Marvel than I am a DB or anime fan. The thing is, those are American cult creations. I just don’t see American studios taking a risk with a rebooted Dragonball movie if this one does poorly to the general masses. Ask anyone who isn’t an anime fan what Dragonball is and they probably couldn’t tell you much about it other than “it’s an anime”, but almost everyone knows what Spiderman, Batman, Wolverine, Superman, is and can name at least some of the main characters from each respective franchise without trying. Comparing the two is like apples and oranges, it’s not really the same thing.

Well, this is a pleasant suprise. We all knew that the reviews would be mixed, but the general consensus seems to be ‘Mildly Enjoyable Movie’, and considering how so many people started to form a hatedom, this is good for everyone here who’s looking forward to it more (And should hopefully enjoy it more too )

the movie did really sucked i watched it yesterday and it fuckin bites as a hard core DB fan i would rate the movie 5/10 and thats just because i love DB and people who are as hard as me you will be disappointed, all Hard Core Fans i tell u it…..Sucks! The movie itself is for kids being a PG thats what you have to believe and it’s true, not much jokes CGI isn’t Great. However it has good actors bulma did a good job and so did Piccollo his was good and oh yeh can someone plz tell me why the FUK was Krillin not in the Movie and wat was the reason of that Wong guy not adding him in!!!!
