Anyway I watched what you posted, and its very nice to see that he gave a shit lol! At first he came across as a guy who didn’t really care, but clearly he’s passionate about his work. Its true that the DB community (or whatever you call it) is a little picky, and has a strict perception of what they wanted to see, but I guess its important to remember that with any type of literature (yes even manga) each reader will make different interpretations from a single story. What may be important for one viewer is not a big deal for another. Clearly the director interpreted the story in a different way than most of us have! lol But yea it just confirms to me that the actors were not the problem for this film, but that the director just missed the point.
I recently watched an interview with him on youtube, and that was interesting for me to see what he had to say, though tones of you probably saw it already lol! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNuPVGC25K4 Yea all of the movie’s short comings now make sense to me after watching this. And the biggest thing that I already kiiinda suspected, was that he totally made the movie for his kids (he doesn’t say that but you know its true) aand had Fox done their research BEFORE hiring anyone, they would’ve realized which audience to focus on! Yes the movie had the “essence” of DB, but bottom line you didn’t treat it in a mature manner to take it to the next level.

I just saw the theather version awhile ago and I loved ot 4.5/5 stars it was awsome and please dont bash me cant wait for the dvd

Actually, I was surprised to see how many animes where based off that story…I can’t remember any of them but I do remember my friends telling me that all the time! lol

i haven’t been on this site in a while. its about time. im definetly getting my copy and for things to add up it comes out 3 days after my birthday, cool!!! birthday present. i ‘ve been a fan of the Dragonball series since i was 7 years old in 1998, i have the 1st 3 animated flims on DVD, 2 DBZ games, and the digitally remastered season 1-6 on DVD so far and im planning on collecting the rest. Honestly I really hope the sequel is much better and shows that DB is not dead and will always live on in the hearts of the hardcore fans out there like me in the future, cause i will NEVER EVER forget this anime legend!!!!!! LONG LIVE Dragonball, Dragonball Zenkai, Dragonball GT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There will be NO SEQUEL! Sabe? This movie was a big FLOP. FOX will NOT waste time and money for making another big FLOP, because they dont know what to do with this anime. They are IDIOTS.
You can await a remake from another Studio, but maybe in 5 ore 6 years, not previous, but not a sequel. Thats athwart the business logic.

@Destroyer i get you don´t like the movie, i dind´t liked but dind´t hate him so i really want to have a sequel based more in the anime so please stop anoying the people of the forum.. it seems that you realy don´t care about dragonball.
dragonball deserves as many tries it needs to do it rigth so let´s hope for the sequal.
don´t forget that are still countries like germany, portugal, greece and others that are still waiting to premiere dragonball evolution so more it will make more money…

awsome just in time before i go to the 8th grade… i loved the movie.. it had some minor mistakes like it needed more story but i absolutly loved it if they make a sequal they have 2 use raditz…. i can’t wait till they have freiza in the movies… but if they make more which is highly possible they will end up killing yamcha (my fav) and i will be extremely pissed but i know they would have to… because if they bring in cell they have to bring in dr. gero which means yamcha’s death.. but overall i can’t wait… i’m getting the dvd and no live action anime film can ever beat this!!!!!!!! DBZ LIVES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
