So I actually watched that Dragonball evolution movie in the plane, and for wasting time, it’s pretty entertaining. However, as a movie, it is what you’d expect from a strongly changed and adapted for a new public real life action adaption of something as big and complicated as Dragonball.

In other words: Sequel? NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
That’d just suck.

It’s full of trite and overused tropes. Of course the mentor dies. Of course he gets the most popular girl. Of course he wins the mental fight with himself. Of course this, of course that. Of course zugging Icecream koans/meaningless deep-sounding wasted words.
The only times that it wasn’t chewed out goo, it was when the protagonist was such a big idiot that you’d want to whack him over the head a couple of times. With a chainsaw. On fire. And then kick him in the fork. With a car. And then kill him. And then resurect him so you can tell him how stupid he is and kill him again just to spare yourself from his stupidity.

For all those who dis the movie have respect for the ones who actually try and make a effort to entertain you and be grateful. Dragonball is a exciting and action movie packed for me. Lay off and have some faith in the movie and maybe the next movie will be better.

Well, not only a sequel, but there are acutally three movies in the Dragonball Evolution trilogy. The upcoming sequel is known as: Dragonball: Reborn. c’mon since 2002 i have being looking forward to this movie, I can’t believe how much it blows, I thought this movie was gonna be crazy…the next (MATRIX) because dragonball has so much potential this movie could be so awesome, the next top box office movie of th year, I think the actors work pretty hard for what they had to work with, i think the movie itself needs to have more action, drama, and longer fight scenes…I really do hope they continue the triology as a dragonball fan i have no choice but to obtain the dvd on blue ray, and im looking forward to see goku transform into a super sayian if it goes that far.
