Dragonball Summer Updates
Hi everyone, I hope you’re enjoying your summer. I’ve been pretty busy as of late so I apologize for the lack of updates. I intend to make the site more active as soon as I can.
And isn’t this interesting, today is the 1 year anniversary of when Dragonball: Evolution was originally supposed to release in theaters, on August 15th, 2008. Why it was delayed is still a mystery.
But anyway, here’s what’s been going on in the Dragonball world!

Amazon is sending emails to some of those who pre-ordered the first Dragon Box set from FUNimation, stating that it has been delayed from November 10th, 2009 to December 15th, 2009. This has not been confirmed by FUNimation, yet.
Speaking of which, Amazon has a great deal going on for the first Dragon Box. Pre-order it, and save $23.99 off the retail price, for just $59.99.
Amazon is listing the second season of FUNimation’s recently-announced remastered Dragonball season box sets to release on November 10th, 2009 for a pre-order price of $34.99. Season two contains episodes 32-61 on 5 discs.
Fans of the hit Dragonball Z parody series “TeamFourStar Dragonball Z Abridged” will need to update their bookmarks. Due to a massive take down of Dragonball related videos on YouTube orchestrated by Toei, TeamFourStar has had their account suspended by YouTube for copyright infringement. Head on over to their new YouTube page for further updates.
Phew. That should be everything important. Oh, and I suppose I should mention that, despite a horrible run in theaters, Dragonball: Evolution is doing very well on the Playstation Network. According to Sony, it’s the #1 movie right now. But still don’t hold your breathe for a sequel.

No need to worry about lack of updates dude, I understand. You summed up all the news good in this one. Also, just to mention some old DBZ video game news, Atari’s ownership license with DBZ games expiered and distribution rights have been given to Bandai Namco Games.

Anyways, thoroughly enjoyed DBE (this from a TRUE DB fan from the age of 4) I hope for a more 100% true to the anime sequel.

AWESOME!! Can’t believe they’re already releasing season two of Dragon Ball, just two months after season one is supposed to come out! Season three shouldn’t be that far behind, it may come out in March or April! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!!!!

But street fighter already has a sequel.
The first movie was Street Fighter, and the second was Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. The First one had Jean-Claude Van Damm and that guy from The Addams Family movies.

Actually, the Amazon email doesn’t say that the release date is the 15th of December, it just says that the estimated arrival date, when it will arrive at your address, may be as late as the 15th. The arrival may also be only a few days after the release date which is still stated to be the 10th of November.
Rather than Kai or DBE, you should all check out the V-Jump special if you haven’t already. An actual new episode of DBZ, released last year.
I think a TV Show would be a terrible idea, we need something bigger and more expensive than DBE, not smaller and cheaper!
@gram18 true say, that’s a giant step backwards. Plus it’s kind of pointless cuz if you like DB/Z as is then just watch the show or buy the manga.
