WeeklyTubeShow’s DB:E Parody!

September 13th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

The genius responsible for the hilarious DragonDub Z parodies on YouTube, Remix (aka WeeklyTubeShow), sent over a new Dragonball: Evolution parody by him! Unfortunately, it was rejected on YouTube, so we’ll be hosting it ourselves for now. Be sure to check it out below, and then head on over to his YouTube channel for his DBZ parodies.

Warning: not for the easily offended or those with no sense of humor.

    Wow
    I am really shocked at how many people are finding Weeklytubeshow unfunny.

    I myself would consider he and Teamfourstar as equals. I think some people should go and watch some more of his stuff on youtube. His voice acting isn’t trying to sound like the actual characters from the show. In this case Piccolo sounding black. Teamfourstar’s always sounds really close to the Funi dub. And if that’s the only reason you don’t like tubeshow is because he’s not identical then….shit,dude. (Only word that came to mind)

    Kid Green :Dragonball Evolution abridged is much funnier than this. Although the balls thing was funny.

    That’s exactly what I was talking about in an above comment. I’m actually looking at the clip’s edit currently… thinking of releasing what we have. Just to put it to rest. Which was episode 2, (without Gohan’s or Chi Chi’s voice) and the ending, which was ment to be the “what?!” moment.

    @Remix
    Excuse me but you tell me off because of my sarcasm, when your initial reply on my post included this:

    “Sorry, buddy. But, you have no idea what the hell you’re talking about.
    In all honesty, I think that even YOU know you’re talking out of your ass on that one. Just some nonsense you decided to throw out there because you didn’t like something about the dub.”

    Anyway, miscommunication is common in written text, so lets not get too carried away with this. I did not explain my opinion thoroughly initially, cause I didn’t want to come out like the know-it-all smartass who over-analyzes everything that is posted here, so just thought I’d briefly state my negative opinion the same way most people here expressed their positive one.

    @Innagadadavida
    Thanks for the quick IQ test.

    I don’t really care about the sarcasm or anything other than what I spent most of my response talking about: The initial criticism. Now, if anyone were to take a glance at all of this, that person could say to me, “Well, the positive feedback isn’t being given any explanation. Why would he expect it from the negative?” Well, to answer that sort of question… Because I don’t think there’s anything else for me to know if the feedback is positive. If the feedback is positive, then I succeeded with what I set out to do and I know exactly what I did to get that positive feedback. But, when its negative, I just feel like I deserve to know exactly what I could have done to make it better. If I’d have gotten negative feedback that took that into consideration, I wouldn’t have seen the guy as a know-it-all. Like I think I mentioned before, I would probably ask the guy more questions about his opinion.

    So, in a nutshell, I get nasty with people who leave negative comments that I see as thoughtless. It gives me reason to think that person doesn’t know what they’re talking about. You’ve proven that you AREN’T a dumbass (Not that you had to prove anything in the first place) and that you actually had some thoughts behind your opinion. So, I’m cool with you now, brah’.

    Lol, I just realized you are the creator of the clip. I understand why feedback is important to you, but you must understand you can’t please everyone with comedy. The lines spoken in your clip are extremely funny to some, and to to others, like myself, not at all. Or, to put it in another way, Borat is to some the funniest comedy ever, but as far as I am concerned it’s the biggest pile of unfunny tasteless cr@p ever to be presented on the big screen.

    As far as the voices go, Piccolo speaks a lot with his mouth closed and that makes it look like a voiceover totally detached from the video, which makes it even less funny to me. Again, for people that find the lines funny it is not important at all.

    Well, of course you can’t please everyone with comedy. Obviously! But, understanding the opinions of those who are on the other side of the fence means alot to me because maybe it can be useful in future. Maybe I could do something to broaden my appeal, you know? Or maybe I could go in a whole new direction?

    Thanks for continuing further.
